It has been said that weight lifting and strength training is the fastest, most effective routine to lose weight naturally. This means that apart from external influences like diet pills, laxatives, food disorders and dangerous surgical procedures, putting your body through a workout that pushes it to do the things that it was designed to do is the most effective and least dangerous means to lose weight fast.
And owing to the tendency of people nowadays, it would of course be preferable for the whole thing to be simple and direct. Now while this can be done in just such terms, it is also helpful to understand more deeply on how exactly this helps you in the way that it does.

Muscle
The muscle is a contractile tissue of animals and is derived from the mesodermal layer of embryotic germ cells where the muscle cells contain contractile filaments that move past each other and change the size of the cell. Skeletal
As the most obvious form of muscles, these are the ones that you flex in order to catch a hot girl’s attention. They encompass the entire skeletal structure, acting as strings to pull the frame. When most people workout to build muscles, this type is all they see and this is all that they credit with the gains that they get. But this is completely erroneous.
Cardiac
If it is not clear enough by the name alone, this muscle involves the heart. You know, the tiny little piece of beating flesh that is keeping you alive? Now while the skeletal muscles do provide the brute force that people classify as strength, that force would not go very well if the cardiac muscles are weak. That is why, if you put the heart of an eighty pound man inside a three hundred pound weightlifter, the heart would most likely burst.
Smooth
These are the muscles that make up your blood vessels. Since your blood vessels are sort of needed in order for blood to move around and since your body needs the blood to move around in order to produce any amount of strength at all, a strong system of smooth muscles is necessary.
Now that we have established that, it is time to get on with the strength training and its effects on weight loss. So it is widely known that a pound of fat has 3,500 calories and that to lose a pound of fat you have to burn 3,500 more calories than you eat. This is what causes a lot of people to have a perpetual fear of eating and to force themselves to throw up every so often. Those are of course, not very healthy methods. Fortunately, strength training is.
The mistake that people make regarding this issue is that they stop at the point where it mentions how much you need to lose as opposed to what you gain. If they had just cared to find out a little more, they will learn that things are not as simple as that.
See, the process of losing those calories and gaining muscles are intertwined in that, muscles need calories in order to grow. This gets even better when coupled with the fact that while recovering from strength training, the muscles use up calories to rebuild, use even more to get bigger and as it gets bigger, burns more calories.
So really, when you look at it at the perspective of a body builder, losing all those calories is not only simple, it is also helps them as it goes. Think of it like this:
Say that your current amount of muscles is at 1. After an intense workout, that amount becomes 0. But as you recover, using up calories and proteins will put it back to 1, and then bring it up to 2. The next time, 2 will go down to 1 and so on. The crux comes in when the body begins to adapt to the strain it is being put through. So it is wise to up the strain as you become stronger.
